Wayne Cash, partner in B and G Management Plus, LL C began his career in the U.S. Army as a utilities engineer in the 86th Engineering Battalion after working in the construction industry as a teenager. While in the Army he attended and graduated from the Engineering School in Fort Lee, VA.. He then went on to receive his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas – Little Rock
He started in shopping center management as part-time operations person with The Simon Company in Indianapolis, IN and began a 10 year career with them that included operations and management at
numerous Simon properties throughout the Midwest.
In 1985 he moved to the Kansas City area and became the General Manager of Oak Park Mall, the largest regional center in the metro area and consistently one of the best malls in the country. During his tenure at Oak Park Mall, he oversaw two major renovations which included the addition of Nordstrom’s, the anchoring wing to the rest of the center and a multi-story parking garage.
Wayne was also involved in civic activities serving on the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Overland Park Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors and served two years as Chair.
After the sale of Oak Park Mall to new owners in 2005, Wayne and his wife, Cindy started B and G Management Plus LL C to work on community and strip centers in the Kansas City area. They use their
years of experience in shopping center and retail operations, marketing and management to assist clients with day to day maintenance/janitorial operations, construction and demolition oversight, bidding specs,
process and recommendations, troubleshooting, marketing planning and implementation, and contractor, municipal and tenant relations.
He is also the owner of Route 66 Auto Sales in Butler, MO which specializes in classic vehicles, many of which he works on himself.
